The Yamaha reface CP is a brilliant portable mini stage piano. At your fingertips you have some of the most amazing and iconic 70s stage keyboard tones. Furthermore with vintage effects and 128 note polyphony you really do have one cool product.
The reface CP gives you the ability to have huge control over the sound you want to achieve:
By adding some Drive to your currently selected sound this adds an authentic distortion effect.
With the Tremoro/Wah control you can toggle for different types of effects. In the “Tremolo” position, this is either a stereo pan effect or tremolo depending on the selected Voice. In the “Wah” position, the effect responds to how hard you play for a super-funky effect. “DEPTH” controls intensity while “RATE” controls the effect speed.
Chorus/Phaser adds well-known modulation effects that add depth, thickness and movement to the overall sound.
D.Delay/A.Delay control brings you two effects with different behaviors. Digital generates precise repetitions while Analog gives a “tape” like experience by changing delay time and pitch in real time.
The last effect in the chain is a classic Reverb. Reverb is a single knob controlling both time and intensity.
Packed with other great features:
2W 3cm stereo speaker system features a speaker system designed to “play right now!” The speakers utilize bass-reflex port technology, producing an unbelievably good sound from a compact speaker.
The battery system is perfect for those moments when you’re on the move giving up to five hours of continuous performance. The included power supply allows reface to be used without batteries.
The HQ-MINI keyboard was developed to achieve the best possible playing feel. Its shape is the result of evaluating the acclaimed FS keyboard from our flagship synthesizers and the sturdy, highly durable pianica keyboard. Thanks to the crisp feel of the keys and the smooth playability throughout their entire range, this is a keyboard you’ll love playing for a long time.
All reface models come with a standard MIDI breakout I/O cable when you want to play reface from a full-size controller keyboard.
The full sonic potential of the tone generator unfolds when connected to a PA system or a pair of high-quality, active speakers via built-in stereo 1/4″ outputs. There’s also a stereo 1/4″ headphone jack and a foot controller input for sustain (reface CP/DX) or expression (reface CS/YC).
You can even monitor through the speakers or headphone jack via a 1/8″ AUX IN.
Reface also features USB MIDI and traditional 5-pin DIN MIDI via an included adapter cable.
